Become a Certified Refugee Volunteer

The comprehensive volunteer training we provide is geared towards helping you understand all facets of refugee resettlement. When you finish the training, you should have an in-depth understanding of how the programs and services, designed to assist refugees, work together. Equipped with this knowledge, you will be in the best position possible to assist refugee families.

If you are 18 years of age or older and have a few hours per week to share please consider becoming a volunteer mentor with Asian Association of Utah.  A mentor is someone who guides, encourages, motivates, teaches, and inspires.  Volunteer Mentors assist refugees or refugee families with a variety of activities.
